I did the reset on the primary DVR and now my Genie Mini seems to work fine. Thanks for the suggestion. The next time I have a problem I will always do a reset on my problem TV receiver and the main DVR. Thanks again.

Try resetting the Genie DVR (HR44). Red reset button behind front panel access card door.
